Hey DUDU community, I just got a new Biorunn head unit and the OS is trash. I've found some really positive reviews of DUDUOS but wondering if it's compatible with this system? Link to the product listing here.
I have the 8 core, 2GB RAM, 32GB ROM version.

Looks like it ight be a FYT 8581 - and if that is the case you can register your device serial number to install Dudu OS. Post a screenshot of your system settings with build number etc - and it should be possible to answer your question.
Otherwise, try to download the link for Dudu 3/4 (8581) - and follow the instructions here to try:

Before doing that, you should 100% have the correct stock firmware for your device to be able to flash back to as it is.
You should, of course, first register your device for Dudu OS if indeed it is a FYT 8581 - by following these instructions:
