  • Battery drain by Dudu7

Hi, I have a Dudu 7 installed in a Mitsibishi Pajero. My unit drains my battery overnight. I have set the system to shut down and not sleep, but there is still a 1amp current when the car key is switched off and the unit is powered off.

Any further advice will be appreciated.

    Cuando se da la descarga de batería se da por varias razones no específicamente por el DuDu7 sino por conexiones extras que tengas en el vehículo, te recomiendo acudir a un electricista para que te de haciendo un test de robo de corriente para ver si específicamente es la pantalla o algún componente del automóvil, a su vez también las baterías estan por cumplir su ciclo de vida y ahí que reemplazarlas o darles el mantenimiento preventivo y/o correctivo.

    Jacques Hi, does the DUDU7 still work when the car is off (does the screen light up?)? Do you have a CANBUS bus box?
    There is no leakage caused by the DUDU radio, it is usually the CANBUS bus box or the power supply that is incorrectly connected.

      I have the same problem hiworld canbus box but far as I can tell it is properly connected. Plugged into power harness and into back of unit

      You can test the quiescent current of your car battery with the engine off!
      What is the difference between the quiescent current when the DUDU device is connected and unplugged?
