  • Harness Suzuki Swift 2023 (Australia) -- DUDU7

Please, I am seeking for the right cable harness to get Mekede DUDU7 (12-256) to the Suzuki Swift 2023 (Australia).
There is a plenty harnesses on Aliexpress for this car but I am not sure if fitting to the Dudu unit.
Please, could you guide me where to search or what to ask to get the right one?
I am not sure if canbus decoder is needed either.
Thank you very much for any ideas.

Loo can you share the picture of dashboard and if possible from behind the factory radio?

Most Suzuki vehicles can be equipped with Android units with blue Suzuki cable harness.

    • Loo replied to this.

Loo Unfortunately Suzuki has no canbus like VW and so on.

You can get canbus informations from the OBD port.

You can buy the OD-LM-01 canbus-box with the blue Suzuki connector. It aldo have connector for factory backup cam.

The new Suzuki Connect system has canbus but i didn't try it until now because my Vitara Shinkai from 2024 is the last one with old Bosch SLDA system.

But i know as i tried OD-LM-01 box in my wifes Swift Sport AZ it did show door open on the head unit.

I AM TALKING ABOUT SUZUKI VITARA LY HYBRID ALL THE TIME.
Please read all my posts about canbus again and again.
Until now there is NO working canbus for SUZUKI VITARA LY HYBRID
But you can get it to work with Suzuki Swift NZ and Suzuki Swift AZ.
I don't know if it can work with Ignis and SX4 and so on.

THE OP DIDN'T SAY A DAMN THING ABOUT YOUR VITARA LY DID HE? He asked about his model which has a canbus box that seems to work perfectly. I'm pretty sure everyone on this forum knows by now you don't have a canbox box that works with your model but it's getting pretty old.

Teklock Lol. You didn't even read or understand what he wrote. Now i know you're just a troll.
THE OP DIDN'T SAY A DAMN THING ABOUT THAT HE HAS A WORKING CANBUS-BOX 😂😂
And i helped him with finding a box for his model.
            I am done with you.
            Happy easter.

              Hello Abidali...
thank you for your prompt response..
yes, there is a 20 pin blue connector used with the original Pioneer unit.

Hello JhonnyD... oo, yes, this looks is what I need to do. Thank you. Mine is AZC33S.. please, could you navigate me which cables did you use with this canbus box?

              JhonnyD

I understood perfectly what he was asking for which is why I posted the link. No reason to get upset, I just don't like when people post misinformation like you have been lately. It's not fair to DUDU Auto when you do this.

Hello Teklock... thank you very much for the link.. please, will it fit into dudu on the other end? I mean that big black connector..
the radio antena part looks good; reverse camera, I think I can sort out as well

                Loo

I don't have this vehicle but I'm pretty confident it will connect to the HU, All these Android Audio head units are all pretty much the same as far as the pinouts. It's the vehicle side you need to make sure it's correct. Here are some pinouts for Suzuki.... https://pinoutguide.com/Car-Stereo-Subaru-Suzuki/

                It will fit just wonderful.
                I have this canbus here.
But you will get the canbus informations from the OBD2 socket.
Suzuki has no classical canbus system like other cars.
The only signal behind the head unit is the backup signal.
To get canbus information you have to set RZC/VW/PQ/Low
Maybe you have to make a connection from the factory cam connector back signal to the head unit back signal cable to get the backup cam to work.
But i think big boss Teklock knows everything about it and can show you 😉

JhonnyD Loo Unfortunately Suzuki has no canbus like VW and so on.

                  color me confused little boss

                  JhonnyD

I don't know if it's the translation or what, but you are making this way more confusing than necessary. "Suzuki has no classical canbus system like other cars" Just because you have to plug the harness into a socket that's not right behind the radio doesn't mean it doesn't have a canbus system. I mean the canbus box looks like it comes with the right plug to get to the bus so I don't understand what the issue is.

You can get to the CANBUS on must all cars via the OBD socket, so I'm a little confused that's all...

That was a good explanation. Thank you.

Teklock JhonnyD, guyes, thanks for interesting discussion 🙂 and clear advice.

I think I got it, so going to order that big harness with OD-LM-01 canbus box and the box needed to plug into the ODB socket. To reach the OBD socket, I guess is somewhere under the dashboard, I will need some OBD splitter-extension. I will check.

That back-reverse cable for camera is behind the radio. There is some extra white connector with 3 wires, one is brown and they used it to power feed the camera. This one I will cramp to the camera harness coming with the Dudu device. Hopefully will work.

I will come back here to tell how it is going.. any more ideas are welcomed..

                    3 months later

                    Hi guys,
Basically harness works - speakers, wheel buttons
Canbus does not work. As I have learned meanwhile, for Suzuki a little chance
Reverse camera does not work yet.. as distributor did not use a factory one but put some localy.. I think it is just about to get a reverse signal to the unit to let know to start feeding camera.
One question, the unit 9.5' is not rectagle shape (top si wider) , so it won't fit to any standard rectangle 9' fascia for Suzuki Swift.. please, any ideas on it?
