  • Can I use the internal Corolla’s microphone to hook up with DUDU7?

Hi all,

I have a Corolla wagon, 2019, and am planning to replace the current head with the DUDU7. I want to avoid using the supplied external microphone and wondering if the supplied can-bus, can make use of the already existing Toyota microphone (which is embedded in the upper pannel). Anyone experience with that? Thanks!!

Evollove I use the internal DUDU mic. Without any problems. I have the same car as you. I don't think Canbus handles the mic, the unit does. If you know a car electrician he can adapt your Toyota mic to connect to the DUDU. I am too lazy to try this. As I said the DUDU internal mic is OK. Not great quality but not bad.

Thanks. Good to hear that the Dudu7 has an internal microphone. If you use that microphone, does it interact with the steering wheel voice command button?

      Evollove Yes, of course.

Is it possible for you to start Toppal with DUDUAUTO?
It does not recognize it when i say DUDUAUTO.
But it works when i press the steering wheel button.
Maybe DUDUAUTO should choose another name.

JhonnyD The question was not about opening the toppal. But if the mic works with the voice command SWC. I do not use toppal. I use Gemini.

JhonnyD I always just say hey dudu
