Whether it was the OD or RZ box wasn't relevant for me. Both worked with Sensus and Sensus Connect, as the LVDS signal is apparently identical. RZ delivers better picture quality because it has a separate LVDS-to-RCA converter, while the OD box's design is technically somewhat inferior, as I discovered when I disassembled it. This means you get significantly less blur and color noise with the RZ box, which is clearly visible on screens with a diagonal of 11.5 inches or larger. To make the image from the Volvo system visible, I added an additional ACC power connection to the RZ box, as the CANbus box simply doesn't provide this. The power connection for the Volvo external antenna amplifier is ideal for this. It's described as an aerial connector in the Volvo wiring harness. I believe it was pin 3 on the IAM/IHU wiring harness, but I'd have to double-check in VIDA.
The downside of this method, however, is that disconnecting the LVDS cable from the Volvo monitor triggers error messages, which only indicate that the Volvo monitor remains black. If this bothers you, you can install an LVDS splitter that then supplies both the Volvo monitor and the DUDU system with an image. This eliminates the errors, but the image quality is slightly reduced.
