• DUDU OS
  • USB Update traditional method

I'm new and having been trying to install my DUDU7 10.36 2K QLED 8+128 unit for 3 months now into a Honda CRV diesel 2015 . This vehicle appears to have a unique head unit (Australia) that requires a wiring harness similar to a Malaysian version. I have not succeeded in getting the Canbus working. After performing a factory reset in an attempt to try different Canbus setting the unit will not boot. It's in a constant loop - gets to the Google logo and restarts.

How do I attempt to flash the firmware using the traditional method.
I have downloaded the firmware from
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wSuA77D_uRjIulqC1O2inX90_4p3Ggd2/view?usp=drivesdk
Then extracted the file to USB drive (16Gb stick) in the root directory.
However it doesn't get detected on boot. Should it detected on boot? Is any USB port on the unit is OK? I tried 2 different ports.
What format should the USB drive be? I'm using Windows 11 to copy the files onto the USB stick.
Is there any documentation on this procedure?

Cheers, Craig

What is the RST on the front panel? Reset button?

There are multiple files in the firmware package, have you extracted them all to a USB flash drive?

After multiple reboots it's now working, but my problem is getting the correct Canbus module and setup.

Can you upgrade normally?

I have tried 2 wiring harnesses from suppliers and both not do not detect door open or SWC.

Please take a picture of the contents of the flash drive

Thanks my system is now booting. The update process worked eventually. Sorry it's all new to me!
I'll start a new topic regarding my Honda CRV 2015 with its unique wiring harness requirements.
