  • Heater control memory issue for my Lexus.

I have a 2008 Lexus LS600HL but every time I lock my car up for the night and I use the remote start in the morning to warm my car up the temperature always goes back to 71° F. Is there a way to save my temperature setting so that when I get in the car after using my remote start my car is warm? It kind of defeats the purpose of having a remote start if the temperature can't be set prior to getting back into the car. I've tried to leave the temperature at 80° f, and each time I've tried I always come out to 71° f. Let me know if I'm doing something wrong please. Thank you very much!

What was the temperature when you got in the car and started it yourself?
If it's just a remote start and the temperature's wrong, then it's the temperature that's set automatically by the remote management, and the mainframe can't fix it.

It's not only the remote start, it's every time I get in the car the temp is set at 71°f. I do know there has been a few times that it did save the temp but I don't believe overnight. There's a delay for the temp controls to be active once the car starts.
    Also,
On my 7862 i turned on START/STOP so when I was parked watching a movie waiting for my wife to go shopping, the acc would be on & when i would start the car, the radio would stay on and the screen would not turn off and reboot. I can't seem to get this 7870 to function the same way. If I attempt to start it after sitting, it shuts off & reboots. Can I bypass this also?

DUDU-Meng I apologize misread your message. The temperature is not wrong, it's right. It resets and sets to 71°. Cold. The display is correct.

Stunna Man kann das herunterfahren verzögern.
Ich habe es auf 3 Sekunden gestellt, damit das Radio beim starten nicht ausgeht.

That's right, I forgot I did that and had it delayed for 4 seconds before shutting down. Thanks man.

Does your original A/C system save the A/C status?
Please elaborate, will the AC status inner and outer cycles, etc. and will these settings be reset as well? Will it be saved for the next drive?
Please take a picture of the model number of the canbox and post it.

When I had the factory head unit & oem hvac controls, when I'd use my remote start, the temp i set the hvac at the night before would be what the temp would be the next morning. If it was hot I'd set the temp like 68° and the next day it'd be 68° when I got in the car. Now it is reset to 71° no matter what I preset it for. It no longer remembers what I set it at the night before. Since it's been cold out, I try to set it at 78° but in the morning it's 71° again. If I set it and I run in a store quickly, I'll come out and it'll be saved sometimes but the longer the head unit is off, the bigger the chance it wont remember what i had it set to. I do have the old canbus that came with my 7862 android head unit. Should I order a replacement canbus decoder thats newer & actually the one for the my dudu7. My steering wheel buttons all work.

Stunna Hello, I can understand that
The A/C was not turned off before the engine was turned off, and the temperature was set to 68°F at that point. But the next time I start the car, the temperature is 71℉?
