  • Where is Front view after reverse (not 360) setting??

Dudu7 3.5, a few days ago I saw this setting and enabled it. I want to turn it off and now I can’t find the setting. I looked at settings-vehicle-reverse camera but it’s not there. I looked at all the other pages and nothing. I know it was there because my front camera did not come on automatically after reverse until I turned that option on.

Can someone share where this setting is?

Thanks!

alavideo It should be in the Reverse Camera settings. But you have to scroll a little bit more downwards. It is called Front view after reversing.

Yes, that’s what I thought as well. And it must have been there for me to set it, but it’s definitely not there now. Either I’m blind or there is a glitch in the UI.

    Here is what I see:

@DUDU SUPPORT - any idea where this setting disappeared to, and how to get it back??

The new version has 360 degrees to differentiate it from the regular back-up camera.
You can't see this setting in 360-degree mode because it doesn't work in 360-degree mode.
It's only available when you switch to normal reversing mode.
    It's located in Settings/Vehicle Protocol/Reverse Camera/Advanced Settings.

This has nothing to do with 360-degree. The option clearly states "(not 360)". Thank you Niehaifeng for helping to solve this. If I switch to "Advance Mode" (under Settings, Other, Mode, Current Mode), then go back to Settings, Vehicle, Reverse Camera, and scroll to bottom the option is now displayed!!

I don't know why this option is only visible in "Advance Mode"?? Maybe this can be "fixed" in the next release?

I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were talking about which setting under Advanced Settings?

“Front view after reverse (not 360)”

alavideo That's not a glitch or a bug. The menu's intended to only show in expert mode. But the new setting UI in the 3.6 beta 2 will have no difference in the mode.

Yes I originally called it a glitch or bug before learning what the issue was. My feeling is this is not really an ”advanced” option and should have been visible regardless of mode. Glad to see the next version of the OS agrees. :-)
