Dudu7 -3.5 built in over-the-air (Ota) radio app

Is there a way to not make built in radio app display “full screen”? I would really like to have it show in one of the three panels in the minimalist view, or in a window or PIP, but the radio app is not in the list of options to select for these views.

I’m new to android and DUDUAUTO so I may not have all the terminology correct, but I hope the above makes sense. If there is not a way, can this be added to the enhancement/feature request. I have the 11.5” screen and it’s a lot of wasted space to have it full screen.

To be clear, I'm referring to the "built in" radio app that comes pre-installed with Dudu7 OS and requires no internet/data connection to play local, over the air radio stations using the built in antenna. If I'm following your post, this is a third-party app that you downloaded from google play store and installed on the head unit?

Yes, the ability to add the built in radio app in one of those panels in the "minimalist view". When I click/tap the three dots to select app to put there, the radio app is not listed. Also, same concept on the default widget layout. There seems to be no option to run the built in radio app within the "main" window of the default widget layout area where the black arrow is pointing. Currently I see no option to select that app. When I added it to the nav bar and select it, the app goes into "full-screen" mode.

Minimalist mode is not about three dots, it's about clicking on multimedia, just like in my screenshot above.

Ok, I will check when I go back to the car. Is a similar option available for the default widget layout (or whatever it's called)?

alavideo You don't have to press on the three dots but on the "source" as @DUDU-Meng showed you in his picture. First you have to select the music widget to be displayed on the desktop and after you can change the source. I have made another video for you. Check it here.

Is there the way to have widget square bigger? On the online manual I saw the way to have a screen witn widgets on the bottom and pendant on the side (left or right), but my device doesn't have this option (as doesn't have the way to choose the manu proposed in the picture)
