  • DUDUAUTO7 will not power up

I have a DUDUAUTO7 which I am attempting to install in a 2012 Touareg which has the high end radio. I did order the "Car Stereo Radio Fiber Optical Box and Canbus Wiring Harness Aftermarket Install Fit for VW Touareg 2012-2015" with the radio as suggested by the rep.

I had to pull the CD changer in the glove box to get to 3 connections which are not shown on the website or the video shared bby a DUDAUTO rep..
Most everything is plug and play and can be figured out but I am Very frustrated with the lack of wiring diagrams or videos clearly depicting what goes where.
I got everything connected but the unit will not power up. I checked the fuse with a meter and it is good. Also have 12 VDC to the fuse.
There is a a brown plug that has no connection to the car. The other end plugs into the factory radio plug.
I have 45 years experience installing car audio. This is the first time I have had no diagram to go by.
Again, very frustrated at this moment. Installation support is very lacking.

Can anyone provide help?

    Treg2012 Are you connected to a CANBUS bus box, which will output 12V ACC to power the radio.

        Yes. I finally got the unit to power up after MANY messages back and forth with DUDU rep on Amazon site. There is no mention anywhere on your website or video tutorials about patching cables into the HVAC controller or removal of the factory CD player and using connections there. Now have no sound. Will post a new message on that.

        dudu-lai The device does only switch on when there is power on ACC? It does not react on CANBUS messages on CAN_RXD? Is this correct? So the CANBUS box need to properly decode the message and provide the power signal?
