  • Improvement: custom boot logo during Boothelper

Many users wants their car logo to be displayed during boot. There's an option to flash the boot logo but I believe that many users are scared of flashing anything because they don't want to screw anything.

So maybe there's an option to make this much easier? Maybe it could be one of the initial setup step?

Chubaka885 so maybe there will be some option for setting your own logo easier than flashing the device?

ciubaka да, я думаю, вариант выбора своего изображения через меню, будет отличным. Это действительно востребовано у пользователей. Я говорил о проблеме с предустановленными логотипами для выбора.

Chubaka885 Very good idea! I support it 100%

          ciubaka It would be great

We'll add a settings portal for users to import their own boot logos

            Greetings!

DUDU-HUANG In what release will this new portal be enabled to change the boot logo?

DUDU-HUANG To keep an eye on new releases or if you are going to communicate this feature it on this thread when it has been implemented.

            Thank you.

Molecula In June we'll go live with this feature

                DUDU-HUANG is this live yet?

                a month later

I'm new here so I don't know how it was before the latest firmware update. But I'd say it is live as I have a pop-up message saying that I should put a .bpm file in a folder named "mycar" in the root of the USB device. However for some reason I cannot make it work. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Anyone here managed to do it?

Edit: Solved. I believe the problem was the wrong picture size
