I would like to ask for technical support regarding CANBUS compatibility with my vehicle and Android head unit.

Vehicle:

Peugeot 508 SW GT
Model year: 2012
Original head unit: RT6 / RNEG2010
OEM sound system: JBL 5.1 with external factory amplifier
Climate control: 4-zone automatic climate control
HUD

Android head unit:

Mekede DUDU7
Version: 8 GB RAM / 128 GB storage
Purchased from the official store as a kit specifically for my car
Supplied CANBUS decoder: Raise RZ-PSA15

According to the vehicle wiring diagram, the original RT6 head unit sends audio to the factory JBL amplifier only through two audio channels, Front Left and Front Right. The JBL amplifier then manages the sound processing, speaker distribution, balance/fader, filtering and other sound-related functions based on CANBUS commands from the original head unit.

This is exactly why correct CANBUS communication with the OEM JBL amplifier is critical in this vehicle.

Unfortunately, with the Android head unit and the supplied Raise RZ-PSA15 CANBUS decoder, the system does not work correctly.

The main problems are:

OEM JBL amplifier / sound control does not work correctly
I cannot properly use EQ / DSP / DTS / balance / fader functions.

The original RT6 head unit was able to control the JBL amplifier correctly via CANBUS. However, with the DUDU7 and Raise RZ-PSA15 CANBUS decoder, the sound control behaves incorrectly:

If I move the sound focus/fader fully to the rear, the sound disappears completely.
When all sound settings are centered, all filters are disabled, and the signal is set to “mono”, moving the balance fully left and then fully right produces a different sound tone and level.
The right side sounds stronger/different, the left side sounds weaker/different.
With the original RT6 head unit this problem does not exist.
All speakers are fully working and there is no hardware problem with the speakers or the amplifier.
In short, the Android head unit does not seem to control the OEM JBL amplifier correctly through CANBUS. Balance, fader, filters, sound processing and delays do not work as they should.

Climate temperature is displayed incorrectly
The climate temperature shown on the Android head unit is different from the temperature shown on the original climate control panel.

The Android unit shows the temperature several degrees higher than the factory climate panel.

This looks like an incorrect CANBUS data interpretation or an incorrect protocol issue.

“Vehicle settings” app does not seem to apply settings
I tried changing different options inside the Vehicle Settings application.

However, it looks like these settings do not actually affect the vehicle functions.

For example:

amplifier settings do not change the JBL amplifier behavior;
audio-related settings do not solve the balance/fader problem;
climate correction settings do not fix the incorrect temperature display.
So either these settings are not supported for my vehicle/CANBUS profile, or the CANBUS protocol is not correct for my configuration.

GPS issue after long parking
There is also a GPS problem after the car has been parked for a long time, for example overnight or for one day in the garage.

After starting the car, the head unit sometimes shows 0 GPS satellites.

After 15–30 minutes and several restarts, satellites appear again in normal quantity.

I do not believe this is an antenna problem, because when GPS starts working, reception is good.

This looks more like a wake-up / initialization / power management problem of the head unit or CANBUS-related sleep/wake behavior.

What I have already tried:

Updated the Android system to the latest available version.
Updated all applications from the App Market.
Tried enabling Beta Protocol.
Tried changing settings in the Vehicle Settings app.
Checked the wiring according to the supplied instructions.
Verified that the OEM speakers and JBL amplifier work correctly with the original RT6 head unit.
I also bought another CANBUS decoder:

Simple Soft RP5-PA-001
I bought it because according to feedback from two other users, this decoder was supposed to control the factory JBL amplifier correctly. Unfortunately, the result was almost the same regarding the sound control.
Additionally, with the Simple Soft RP5-PA-001 CANBUS decoder, the car does not fully switch off the Android head unit while parked. As a result, the vehicle battery was completely discharged after about two days.
So this CANBUS decoder is not usable for me either.

At this point, I have spent a lot of money and even more time trying to find a working solution. I do not want to continue guessing and buying random CANBUS decoders.

I need a clear technical answer.

My questions:

Is Peugeot 508 SW GT 2012 with OEM JBL 5.1 amplifier and RT6/RNEG2010 originally supported by your CANBUS decoder?

Does your CANBUS decoder fully support control of the factory JBL amplifier via CANBUS, including:

balance;
fader;
speaker distribution;
sound focus;
amplifier settings;
filtering / sound processing commands?
Which exact CANBUS decoder model and protocol should be used for this vehicle configuration?

Is Raise RZ-PSA15 the correct CANBUS decoder for Peugeot 508 SW GT 2012 with JBL 5.1, or is another model required?

Is there a firmware update available for Raise RZ-PSA15 for better support of the Peugeot 508 / JBL amplifier configuration?

Can you provide the correct CANBUS protocol name/number that should be selected in the factory settings of the Mekede DUDU7?

Is there any known issue with incorrect climate temperature display on Peugeot 508 with 4-zone climate control?

Is there any known issue with GPS initialization after long parking / deep sleep on this head unit or CANBUS configuration?

Would a HiWorld CANBUS decoder work better for this exact car configuration?

If this configuration is not fully supported, please say so clearly. I would prefer an honest answer rather than spending more money and time on more CANBUS decoders.

I am ready to test another CANBUS decoder, including HiWorld, but only if there is a realistic chance to make everything work correctly.

What I need is not a basic installation instruction, but a proper technical confirmation about compatibility with:

Peugeot 508 SW GT 2012;
RT6 / RNEG2010 + OEM JBL 5.1 amplifier;
4-zone climate control;
Mekede DUDU7 Android head unit.
Please advise which CANBUS decoder, firmware and protocol are officially recommended for this exact configuration.
